The domain is registered with another provider. How to send it to your hosting?

To direct a domain to our hosting, you will need to follow these steps:

 

1. In the "Control Panel - Domains" click on the button:

 

2. Enter the domain name and add it to us on NSs.

 

3. At your registrar, change the server name for the domain to those specified on the "Domains - NS Name Servers" or "Hosting - My Sites" page.

 

IP addresses of our name servers do not need to be specified, leave these fields empty.

 

4. If you do not use our mail server to receive mail, then do not forget to specify the MX records that are responsible for the operation of mail in the "Control Panel - Domains - Domain Settings" (you can check the names of the servers with the company that provides you with mail) .

 

I want to be served on third party NS/name servers. How to send the domain to your hosting in this case?

 

We recommend placing the domain on our name servers. Since in the event of a change in the IP address of the web server, the procedure for changing the IP address will occur imperceptibly, without downtime for your sites. If you still decide to host the domain on other name servers, you will need to specify the following data in the domain:

in records of type A (for @ and www) specify the ip-address that is displayed in your "Control Panel - WWW domains - IP address";

in MX type records, specify the following data:

@ mx 10 mail.(your domain).
